Take a moment and reflect over the last 20 years of your life. Did you go to college? Did you have epic spring breaks with your best college buddies? After graduation marry the girl or guy of your dreams? Did you witness the birth of your first child? Or maybe you didn't go to college but, made just as many or even more unforgettable memories?  How many cherished Christmases and 4th of Julys have you spent with family or other loved ones or with whomever that made it special? How many once in a lifetime concerts have you seen or professional live sports games have you been to?  How many “once in lifetime” moments period have you had?  How many amazing places have you traveled to? Or how many lazy Saturdays have you had barbecuing for family and/or friends? How many unforgettable memories have you made over the last 20 years????

Now imagine everything that has happened in your life over the last 20 years gone!  Everything erased as if it never happened. Instead, imagine that you have spent the last 20 years in prison and for a crime you did not commit.

A new report from The National Registry of Exonerations reveals that Texas police and prosecutors have been “either responsible or played a major role in exonerating 53 of 114 convicts since 1989,” the highest percentage in the country.

Just a handful of those that have been wrongfully convicted in the State of Texas that had been sentenced to either Life in Prison or Death.
